So I have written this down a couple of times, and edited it, and rewrote, and finally have given up trying to make it not sound like a rant.

Basically, I won't be flying United Airlines anymore.  My wife was recently traveling from Portland, OR to Indianapolis, IN.  First the flight was delayed, and that happens.  But it was late enough that she (and my one year old son) missed their connecting flight in Denver.  So she's stuck in Denver for about six hours until they can fit her on another flight.  Again, it happens.  BUT, here's where I have a problem.  What did United do?  Nothing.  Nothing except threaten to refuse to help my wife because she was getting a little frustrated at the whole ordeal.  Now I know my wife, and I know what she's like when she gets upset.  It wouldn't surprise me if she raised her voice a bit.

Spent last weekend at the Coast with Jenn, Riley and my mother and father in-law.  We did the normal north coast stuff, the Astoria Column, Ft. Stevens, Ft. Clatsop and like all good trips to the beach, on the way back we stopped by the Cheese Factory and stocked up on some fresh cheese curd.
I met an old cheese maker who was shuffling around the place and he told me the secret of eating curd....something I hadn't thought of before.  Warm it up.  It actually does add a lot of flavor when you do that.

This time we went by the Goonies House too.  They had a no tresspassing sign up, though.  So Jenn wouldn't take a picture of me doing the truffle shuffle by the fence.  Darn.
